What is the sweetness level of Prosecco wine? Is it a sweet wine?
Prosecco wines are mostly enjoyed in the dry style or extra dry style but, because of the fruity flavor of the grapes, it often tastes sweeter than it is.
It has a unique profile because of the different making methods used in its making. They are produced mostly on the drier side, but there are more sweet variants available too in the markets.
I personally like the dry style because it already has the perfect sweetness, so the sweet ones are too sweet for my palate. Just because it has the perfect sweetness in a well-balanced dry style with all the bubbles, it tastes fantastic with spicy curries, Southeast Asian fare like Thai, Vietnamese, Hong Kong, and Singaporean cuisine.
